2nd Vilnius Mini Maker Faire – May 26th & 27th, 2017

The event, which celebrates technologies, art and do-it-yourself movement comes back to Lithuania!  We are happy to announce that the second Vilnius Mini Maker Faire will take place in Vilnius Energy and Technology Museum, May 26th & 27th, 2017.

After last year’s debut, we are determined twice more to add brand new activities to event’s program, shake Vilnius public space with makers’ installations and organize annual artistic cycling bikes parade “Who did that to my bike”. At the moment we can already confirm that this year some cool initiatives will join the event. One of them - the first and the only Lithuanian hacker’s camp “No Trolls Allowed”. Moreover, a global NGO “The Micro:bit Foundation” will come to present its' achievements and inspire us all.  Finally, our host, Vilnius Energy and Technology Museum is also willing to take an active part in the event. Therefore, this year we expect a larger number of visitors, active schools’ participation and a bigger attention from media and the society.

More details about the event will come soon but meanwhile we’d like to remind that Vilnius Mini Maker Faire is a local celebration of global Maker Faire. The festival, which promotes science, inventions and creativity, connects various technology enthusiasts, creators, educators, science clubs, engineers, authors, artists and students.
